Quezon PPO Named Best Provincial Police Office in PRO 4A Under Col. Romulo Albacea
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna — The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO), led by Police Colonel Romulo Adoreno “Bong” Albacea, was officially recognized as the Best Police Provincial Office in the Police Regional Office 4A (CALABARZON) during an awarding ceremony held on Monday, June 8.
The recognition was conferred by PRO 4A Regional Director Police Brigadier General Hansel M. Marantan, acknowledging the QPPO as the Top Performing Police Provincial Office based on the Unit Performance Evaluation for April 2026, where it earned an 80.84 percent rating described as “Very Satisfactory.”
The award highlights the strong operational performance of the Quezon PPO in areas such as law enforcement efficiency, crime prevention strategies, community engagement, and overall public safety management across the province. It also reflects the consistent implementation of intensified police visibility operations, strengthened coordination with local government units, and sustained anti-criminality initiatives under Albacea’s leadership.
In his message, Col. Albacea emphasized that the recognition is a product of collective effort among all personnel of the Quezon PPO.
“Ang pagkilalang ito ay bunga ng sama-samang pagsisikap, dedikasyon, at malasakit ng bawat pulis ng Quezon PPO sa paglilingkod sa ating mga kababayan. Higit sa karangalan, nagsisilbi itong inspirasyon upang lalo pa naming pagbutihin ang aming trabaho at patuloy na maghatid ng tapat, mahusay, at makataong serbisyo sa mamamayan,” Albacea said.
He added that the award serves not only as a distinction but also as motivation for the entire provincial police force to further enhance their service delivery and maintain public trust.
Under the leadership of Col. Albacea, the Quezon PPO has been noted for its improved coordination mechanisms, faster response operations, and strengthened community-based policing programs, contributing to what officials describe as a more proactive and responsive police presence in the province.
Regional officials, led by PBGen Marantan, underscored the importance of sustained discipline, accountability, and operational excellence among police units in CALABARZON as part of the broader goal of improving peace and order in the region.
